Our Story
Just imagine what life would be like if you lost every comfort that your life has to offer – no food, no water, no place to live, no clothes to wear except what you have on your back, and no expectation that you would receive help to obtain those things that our society takes for granted. That scenario may seem like a third-world country, but even with all the amazing charities and organizations that exist to help those in need, we discovered that some people are still excluded and living in these desperate conditions right here in Orlando, Florida. It’s easy to turn a blind eye when we are comfortable, but we are learning that when God causes us to see a need, He also provides a way to meet that need. We felt that God was moving US to do something about it. We endeavor to follow the pattern of Jesus in our ministry. We give God thanks for the work already accomplished and look forward with joyful anticipation to the miracles and changed lives that God will work through us. We welcome you to join us in changing the world one soul at a time.

This familiar, but powerful prayer offered from the lips of a young child who moved a nation for God were the same words that moved us to found The Gospel Gathering. Our mission is to create a community based teaching ministry designed to engage ALL PEOPLE with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to help people, both physically and spiritually, that are often marginalized by race, gender, sexuality, and spirituality.
